Seca is a coast village on the Adriatic coast near the Croatian border. The park Forma Viva, where you can admire Istrian marble is worth a visit.
Lucia is situated next to the most known bath city of Slovenia, Portorož. The most important & only curiosity is the little church of Lucia, that‘s also the oldest building of this village. To the coast there is a little port with pleasure boats.
Portorož is the largest bathing resort of the Slovenian Riviera for tourists. The city has approximately 1km of beach with sand. Beside that there are many beaches of concrete. Beside the many little shops you find numerous sport facilities such as tennis, golf, swim, and bowl. In the evening you can amuse well in the many cafés, discotheques & the casino. Only curiosity of the city is the former convent Bernardin.
A small kilometre of Piran you find the village Fiesa. Here you find beside a beach of pebbles, many olive-trees & some rare plants and animals.
A little bit further lays Strunjan, well known by its oyster production& salt pans. Salt is still won in an original manner. Every year there are saltpan parties in the city.
On some kilometres of Strunjan you find Izola, which in former days was an island on itself. The city exists half from tourism & half from industry. The port of Izola plays an important role for the industrial activities. Most important curiosities are the Venetian houses such as Manzioli house, Lovisato house & last but not least Besenghi degli Ughi. In the old town part is the Mauruskerk a beautiful curisoty, where you see splendid paintings.
Ankaran is a popular bathing resort which is situated near the Italian border. The convent Sanot Niccolo d'Orta has been converted to a hotel.
