In 1999, Tadej Valjavec won the round of Italy for Espoirs better known as the baby giro. Two years later many peoples who loves cycling were surprised by the 3rd the place of the Slovene Martin Hvastija in the E3-price in Harelbeke (Belgium). In the same season Andrey Hauptmann became surprisingly 3rd in the world championship for elite in Lisbon. One year later Andrey became 4th in the world championship just for his compatriot Zoran Klemenzic.
On the World Championship cycling in Verona of 2004, they gained 2 medalles. Janez Brajkovic became the best timeracer of the espoirs. Simon Spilak got the bronze medal of the juniors. In 2006 Matej Mugerli won a stage in the round of Catalonie who was important for the Pro tour. One year later, Grega Bole became first in Luik-Bastenaken-Luik.





In 2009 Borut Božic became the first Slovenian cyclist who won a stage in the round of Spain. In 2010 Kump and Špilak are until now the two riders who won the most important races. Kump won the round of Flanders for espoirs and Špilak a stage in the mountains in the round of Romandië. It seems that Spilak and Janez Brajkovic will be names , we will here a lot in 2010.
In 2011, Grega Bole won the GP Ouest-France, a World Tour contest in France. This year, Janez Brajkovic won a stage in the Spanish Tour of Catalonia.
