Lipica is a village in the west of Slovenia to the Italian border. This is the place where they already bred the world famous Lippizaners for 4 centuries. Through the year there are given excursions by the stock. There are given shows in the summer season. The people who love horses can follow lessons.

In the south west of slovenia you can find a small town with the name Hrastovlje. The most important curiosity is the church of Hrastovlje.

Kostanjevica na Krki is lain on a small island on the river the Krka in the south of Slovenia. This is the smallest & oldest village of the country, which is called by a lot of people, ` the Venice of Slovenia’. On this small island you find a splendid convent. In the convent complex you can admire beautiful paintwork of Slovenian artists. The excellent frescos in the church, Sveti Miklavž, in the centre of the city were painted by Gorjup.

Celje is a industrial and cultural city lies at the east of the country between two big cities, Ljubljana & Maribor. This city was serious damaged in the Second World War. Afterwards Celje developed to a modern industry city.
In spite of the 2nd WO Celje has some splendid buildings. In the Daniëls church you find beuatiful pictures and coloured frescos. Beside the old town centre, the castle of Celje & the museum of Celje are also worth a visit. For a beautiful view on the city you must go to the defence tower of the castle.

Novo Gorica is a city near by the Slovenian-Italians frontier in the west of Slovenia. The Franciscan monastery of Kostanjevica & The Kromberk castle where you find the regional museum are worth seeing. You also find a museum about World War I.

Škofa Loka is a city in the centre of Slovenia. In the Škofa Loka castle there's a museum about the history, art, culture, cultural anthropology & science of the city. Near the castle there's a baroque church. The Saint- Jacob church has a renaissance altar of Saint Catherine in black marble.Other curiosities are the Spital church, the Capuchins bridge, The statue of Mark & a lot of different houses in baroque architecture.

Kamnik is situated in the centre of Slovenia. The old historical town has a lot of the typical narrow streets. Mali grad has a Romanesque chappell. Other places who are worth a visit are Stari grad, the Sadnikar museum, the Zaprice Castle & the Franciscan monastery.

Metlika is situated in the South of Slovenia, near by the frontier of Croatia. The most important curiosity is the Bela Kraijna Museum & the Slovenian museum of firedepartement of Branko Božic.
