Velenje, in the north of Slovenia, a city with 33 000 inhabitants.
This city is sometimes called ‘the miner city’ because they live of limestone extraction. The city is situated between the castle of Velenje & the castle of Salek. Inside the castle of Velenje you find the Velenjemuseum which concerns the history of the city.
